If you're into robots, then you would want to know that Gundam have announced two Robot Damashii releases! The Mk V and the Xi. Both robots look fantastic, although the blue Mk V just takes the cake!

Bandai are releasing a new robot this August - Shin Getter-1 of the Super Robot Chogokin line. He looks fantastic, and is reminiscent of other 70's Japanese robots like the Shogun Warriors robot toy line.

They're releasing a new Gundam, the XXXG-01s, and it looks very cool and posable. What I like about a lot of the Gundam toys is that you don't have to be a modelling genius to put them together. For the most part, they just click into place, removing the need for glue and their plastic bodies are already the colour you need, meaning you don't need to paint them if you don't want to!

This other figure, Riobot Detonator Orgun, looks awesome, and has some of the biggest shoulders around!

This pink mecha from Megahouse will be available in September, and may be the only time that robots are allowed to be that colour! It looks slightly steam-punk with its riveted chassis - but pink or not, it looks the business!

Wow, just found a new line of robots to fall in love with! These are a collaboration between Bandai and Three Zero (so they probably won't be cheap - but still: SAMURAI ROBOTS!

You don't often see kick-butt robots based of female aesthetics, but this Myzr Eta mecha does so brilliantly, putting a lot of 'macho' mecha to shame! What a great piece.

A couple of tough looking mechs about...This is a damn good looking specimen - 1/35 ASS-117A Valken Booster Unit Type, by P.M. Ofiice A. That green really makes him look perfect for military roles!

This armoured Gundam looks intense - just look at the huge claw-thing on his right arm! I don't know if he'd stand ok with that arm outstretched, but I do like it and the rest of this highly detailed Robot Damashii ZGMF-X12A+AQM/E-X05 Divine Testament Gundam.

In Mecha Damashii's latest review we get a good look at  Robot Damashii MSN-06S Sinanju.  This feisty red mech is emblazoned with gold etchings and looks deadly, yet regal. It's a great looking piece.

Mecha Damashii have pics of of an awesome robot from the game Cyberbots - Blodia Riot.  A very cool and interesting looking figure, with a giant rocket arm!  One thing the Riobot's are noted for is their large amounts of diecast parts, and this guy will be no different.  He'll be available for pre-order in October.

Over at Mecha Damashii they've got some awesome pictures up of Riobot Orgun, along with their review. Orgun is a very clean looking 'bot, and comes with a number of accessories including a massive shoulder-cannon!

Mecha Damashii posted about this awesome huge blue robot - sadly it's around $400 to buy! It's cool, but you could buy a LOT of toys for that money!

Mecha Damashii are showing off pictures of a new Gundam from their Robot Damashii line - the RX-93-v2 Hi-Nu Gundam. This bad boy looks pretty detailed!
