Lego Lego Lego

I love me some Lego space ships, especially the Star Wars ones! This is the soon-to-be-released Jedi Defender Class Cruiser, based on the ship from the Old Republic game. It looks so chunky you could hammer nails into a wall with it!

I have to admit that I did chuckle a little while watching it.

Back to the Future are getting the Lego treatment, to be launched on the 18th of July... starting with the time travelling DeLorean!

think i might have to get a lego delorean

I was thinking of you when I came across these details The DeLorean looks like a great little piece, and hopefully won't be too ridiculously priced!

Although I don't collect lego as such.. I'm a Car guy so this is right up my alley.

Just wondering what everyones thoughts on this are.

Thanks for the link about Jabba's Palace. I haven't spent enough time with Mosques to know whether the Palace resembles one or not. It doesn't look like one to me, but if people feel offended, they have a right to voice that opinion, IMHO. And Hasbro are denying that this is the reason they pulled it anyway. So, seems a bit like a storm in a tea cup to me

IF people were upset with it because they felt it portrayed racism, and IF that was the reason Hasbro pulled it, I'd like to think that Hasbro would be big enough to admit it.

what a load of crap, it's a damn toy, just another case of political correctness going to far.

The biggest problem with the Jabbas Palace controversy, is that I am now having trouble finding it in stores. Everyone seems to have gone out and bought it and they aren't being replaced quick enough. The Jabbas Palace and Rancor Pit are able to be put together to form one set.

Well, I guess it's become pretty exclusive then Evil Bay has a few Palace's for sale, as does our local Uncle Tony... for what it's worth.

Haha!  I like my Lego a bit more sci-fi, but now that I think about it it's amazing that Simpsons Lego hasn't been done before!
