Third Party Transformers
A super deformed (SD) Optimus Prime has been announced by Excellent Toys, code-named CR-M01. He looks great - just the right balance or robot and cute, in my opinion! For more details click here.
Re: Third Party Transformers
Some nice bits of Transformers news about!
Love them or hate them, the Transformers movies are set to continue with Transformers 4 to start filming in Detroit in June. Reports are saying that TF 4 will be a bit of a departure from the first three, but we'll see. Michael Bay is still involved, to the lamentation of many TF fans.
Excellent Toys hare released some colour pics of the Super Deformed Optimus Prime (CR-M01). As I've mentioned before, I think he looks great. Some more details have come out including that he will be 17cm tall, and is made of 150 different parts! Excellent Toys are planning to release him in July this year.
Fortress Maximus... but not as you've seen him! He's not quite what I'd expect a Fort Max to look like, but if you look closely you can see a couple of neat nods to the original G1 figure.
The Transformers cassette Rhinohorn gets an evil facelift in this awesome clear purple Evil Rhinohorn Energon version by Keith's Fantasy Club, which will be released in the States in May this year. A neat little 'Con for collectors.

Re: Third Party Transformers
In Transformers news, Mastermind Creations have added more pictures of their 'not-Predacon' figures to their Facebook page - the Feral Cons. These 'Cons are definitely drool-worthy, and any TF fan of the original G1 Predacons and Predaking should check them out!

Re: Third Party Transformers
Acid Storm! Not many people will know about this Transformer... He was originally an un-named green Seeker (a Decepticon jet) in one of the G1 cartoons. Shockwave orders the Seekers (who were triangular in shape) to fire on a cloud, turning it into acid rain. The green Seeker's notoriety increased and he gained a fan following that unofficially dubbed him 'Acid Storm' - and one of the most unique-looking Decepticon jets was born!
Takara have annouced this masterpiece version, which looks stunning! No word yet as to whether this guy will be available in Australia, but all relevent digits are crossed!
You can see an English translation of the release details here.

The World's Smallest Perceptor has been announced on Weibo.com. Looks like they're doing a great job re-creating the Autobot scientist in such small detail!
Re: Third Party Transformers

Re: Third Party Transformers
Ahhhh, NOT-Superion (Uranos), how good you look finally combined! This Transformer homage piece looks fantastic, and this picture is the first to show him all put together! I can't help but imagine him alongside NOT-Predaking and NOT-Computron!
And Excellent Toys have posted a couple of new pics of the most cutest Deformed Optimus Prime (CR-M01) on their Facebook page!
Seeing him all-white like that, I can't help but to imagine how awesome an 'Ultra Magnus' variant would look!

Want to see some cool toy design sketches based off of the original Junkions from the Transformers movie back in the 80s? Well here ya go!
Here's a third party Transformer based on what the original The Fallen in Transformers, War Within looked like. If only the movies had the comic/cartoon aesthetics!
A Transformers Dinobot inspired Tape transformer? OK, then...

Keith's Fantasy Club (KFC) will be releasing some Transformer Third Party cassettes later this month - Birdbomber and B-Box - who look great on their own - but they also combine to form Boxbomber!
Re: Third Party Transformers
Completed images of Tigris, the Not Rampage homage figure and Leo Dux, not Razorclaw, of Not Predaking have recently been released - they're looking really good, and as a G1 Transformers lover I'm a big fan of them!
The female Autobots are getting the deluxe treatment as MasterMind Creations reveal images (via Planet Steel) for their Not-Arcee and Paradon Medic.
Keith's Fantasy Club toys are turning their attention to a Not Perceptor - called Mugan Scope. He's shaping up to look pretty cool and well articulated!

I don't know much about FansToys' Quakewave - a Shockwave homage figure, but he does look fantastic! He's getting a re-colour in memory of the original RadioShack Galacticman, which was pre-Transformers.
Re: Third Party Transformers
Fall of Cybertron Dinobot homage figures? Yes please! Planet X have announced that they'll be doing just that, and pictures of their NOT Swoop have emerged. This figure looks awesome, and if it's any indication, the rest of the toys look like they'll be worth getting too.
Re: Third Party Transformers

Keith's Fantasy Club is at it again, making more 3rd Party Transformers. Now he's posted a picture of his homage to the G1 Decepticon tape Overkill - Overslay. Here he is in Robot Mode, complete with missile packs!
Also, while I'm talking about Keith's Fantasy Club, they've updated their photo page with some of their up-coming projects and re-paints. Among the awesomeness is a Transformers lion cassette (Steeljaw) painted like a Voltron lion, a couple of awesome shark 'bots, and homage Overkill and Slugfest cassettes painted like their Dinobot cousins. All amazing looking pieces!
As far as G1 Transformers are concerned, you can't go past the 80s movie. CM's Corporation have announced that they will be revealing their project, the Exo-Suit from the 80s movie that was worn by Daniel and Spike soon! It looks the business and really harkens back to the original movie designs.

Re: Third Party Transformers
Check out this glorious G1 Jetfire/Skyfire homage figure by DaCa ToYs - and he's simply called 'TiTan'. He's about 30cm tall, fully articulated, and just does a great justice to the original cartoon version of the character. Truly jaw-dropping!
Check out this very awesome deluxe homage Transformers cassette by Keith's Fantasy Club - two cassettes that each are great vehicles (a tank and a jet), that can merge to form a pretty slick looking robot - Airdancer!
What if Transformers met Gundam? Well, that's just what Mastermind Creations are considering with their Seraph Prominion Nova Prime concept... and it looks amazing! The best of both worlds, if you ask me!
